The Human Relations
Council is a core group of students who will serve as an organizing council
that will create and implement a school-wide action
plan that promotes positive human relations.
Mission Statement
To foster an environment of equity and positive human relations that ensures
all students receives a quality education.
Purpose
The purpose of the Human Relations Council is to promote respect for the
rights and integrity of all individuals and recognize the value of each
group as an important part of the community.
Goals
The goals of the Human Relations Council are:
· Promote character building and positive human relations
· To Ensure that our council is responsive and accessible to all students
· Provide interactive human relations experiences relevant to living in
a diverse society
· Create a school-wide action plan that will address the human relations
needs of Monarch High School
We meet every Monday afterschool in the media center @2:50p.m.
