2010 SOUTH FLORIDA WINTERGUARD CHAMPIONS!!!! HERE ARE THE RESULTS FROM THE 2010 WINTERGUARD SEASON January 30th Premier at West Broward HS: 1st Place in Class SB February 6th at J.P Taravella HS: 1st Place in Class SA February 13th at Stoneman Douglas HS: 1st Place in Class SA February 27th at Flanagan HS: 2nd Place in Class SA March 13th at Santaluces HS: 1st Place in Class SA March 27th South Florida Championships at Barbara Goleman HS: 1st Place in Class SA CONGRATULATIONS TO THE MARCHING KNIGHTS ON THEIR OVERALL EXCELLENT RATING!!!! The Marching Knights got the following scores at MPA on October 24, 2009: Auxillary received a SUPERIOR rating General Effect received an EXCELLENT rating. Marching and Manuvering received an EXCELLENT rating. Music 1 received an Excellent rating. Music 2 reveived a GOOD rating.
FUNDRAISERS!!!!! $$$$ If you have any old cell phones with or without the battery, and/or empty ink catridges....any kind....please bring them into the band room and put them in the large green bin in the front of the room which is labeled.......RECYCLED CATRIDGES/CELL PHONES $$$$ $$$$ The band will be selling discount cards soon. $$$$
VERY VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT DATES!!!!! OUR NEXT BAND/COLOR GUARD MEETING IS TBD AND WILL BE AT 7:30!! BAND MINI CAMP- WEDNESDAY JUNE 9TH FROM 5PM-9PM...THURSDAY JUNE 10TH FROM 5PM-9PM AND FRIDAY JUNE 11TH FROM 9AM-3PM.
LET'S GO MARCHING KNIGHTS!!! Please pay your fairshare....If everyone pays their "Fairshare" then we can go on more trips and do more events!!! Then type in MINIMALLY SPEAKING, and we are doing all 3 songs that are Minimally Speaking. WEEKLY SCHEDULE FOR CONCERT SEASON REHEARSALS FOR PERCUSSION ARE LISTED BELOW. ALL REHEARSALS WILL GO UNTIL 4:30 AND ARE EITHER ON MONDAYS OR WEDNESDAYS. May 10th until 4:30.

IF YOU CAN NOT MAKE A REHEARSAL, PERFORMANCE, HAVE TO LEAVE EARLY, ARE COMING LATE ETC....YOU MUST LET ME KNOW AT LEAST 4 DAYS IN ADVANCE!!!!! REMEMBER THESE ARE PART OF YOUR GRADE!!!! I WILL KEEP THE BAND ROOM OPEN AS LONG AS YOU NEED TO PRACTICE OR ASK FOR HELP ON DAYS THAT WE DO OR DO NOT HAVE REHEARSAL!!!!

Friday September 24th Away Game at Cooper City against Cooper City in "A Uniform". Friday October 1st Away Game at Nova against Nova in "B Uniform". Friday October 8th Home Game at Coconut Creek against Blanche Ely in "A Uniform". Friday October 15th Home Game at Deerfield Beach against Coral Glades in "A Uniform". Thursday October 21st Home Game at Coconut Creek against Coral Springs in "B Uniform". Thursday October 28th Away Game at Coconut Creek against Coconut Creek in "B Uniform". Friday November 5th Away Game at Lockhart Stadium against Stranahan in "A Uniform". Thursday November 11th Home Game at Coconut Creek against West Broward in "A Uniform".
All students will stay at school on football game days so uniforms must be brought to school. Students should be back from the games around 10-10:30. All games are at 7:00 p.m!!!
FOOTBALL SEASON IS OVER!!! ***B UNIFORM WILL CONSIST OF RED POLO MONARCH BAND SHIRT WITH DICKIES... BLACK DRESS PANTS, DINKLES....BLACK SHOES, AND BLACK SOCKS. GLOVES WILL NOT BE NEEDED THIS YEAR!
